(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 05, 2013 ) San Francisco, CA -- According to her instagram, Nicole Richie has decided on a new hairstyle, and the internet and gossip columns were quickly abuzz about the new look.
The fashionista showed off her new bob, which were a departure from her long locks, as she took a picture to the popular picture-sharing site to tell her fans about the news regarding her hair.
In the snap that was posted on Tuesday, the 31-year-old was seen sitting at a salon with a busy hairdresser tending to her new hairstyle. The fashion-queen captioned her photo with a simple “B.O.B” and then used a small scissors icon.
Her eager fans responded almost immediately with encouraging words, assuring Nicole that they approved of the new look.
"I love ur hair nicole! (sic)" one wrote.
Earlier in the month, the mother-of-two sported a very different style at the Golden Globe Awards on the red carpet. Nicole had arrived to the ceremony in a powder-blue Naeem Khan gown, allowing her long locks cascade across her shoulders.
The occasion is not the first time that Richie has made a to-do about sporting a new 'do. She famously chose to go blond in 2007, which created a buzz.
Nicole seems to always find a way to remain fabulous throughout the decade she has been within the spotlight, and admits she does have her hair routine down to an almost-scientific schedule.
"I'm not very good at doing my makeup, but styling my hair - that I have down pat. I start fresh every morning: I wet my hair, even if I don't end up shampooing it, apply Kérastase Oléo serum, then blow it dry," she previously revealed to Redbook.
