Quit Smoking In Ten Steps - Is It Possible?

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 14, 2013 ) Los Angeles, CA -- A new program set for launch on 15th January promises to equip addicted smokers to finally break free from the vice.

Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances known to man. Despite the graphic photos now required on all cigarette packs in some countries, the propagation of information on the serious dangers lurking in each stick (more than 4,800 chemicals including lead and mercury) and the wide publicity of smokingÂ’s health repercussions (it is the largest cause of premature morbidity and preventable mortality), letting go of the habit has proven difficult to do.

In a nutshell, Azlan the programÂ’s architect, takes program participants through 10 distinct stages that will see them quit smoking even those who have grappled with it for decades.

The program has no age restriction. Whether one is in their late teens just getting hooked or an octogenarian who has smoked for virtually decades, ‘Quit Smoking in Ten Steps’ has an appropriate response. Whereas alcoholism is a fairly common problem, smoking and nicotine addiction is considered more difficult to break free from.

Virtually every major statistic shows smoking addiction is at near pandemic proportions. In the United States alone, there are more than 45 million smokers. Obviously not all smokers are addicted to the habit. However, nicotine is a powerful stimulant and as many as 60 percent of smokers are hooked to either nicotine or smoking itself (note that nicotine addiction is not the same as smoking addiction).

To show just how difficult kicking the habit is, a listing of smoking facts compiled by Lung.org indicates that over the course of 2009, close to half of all smokers in the US tried to stop smoking for at least one day in an attempt to completely give up the habit. The number of persons that successful dropped the practice is a small proportion of those that tried to do so.

So what distinguishes those who are successful and those who just cannot shake off the habit? The ‘Quit Smoking in Ten Steps’ program is built on the premise that as long as one person successfully breaks free from smoking, that should mean there is indeed a way out – one need only look for it. Azlan struggled with smoking for a while, blowing an astonishing 7 packs a day when he was at his lowest point. It is the practical techniques he used to eventually break free that he strives to share through this program.

About Quit Smoking in Ten Steps:

‘Quit Smoking in Ten Steps’ claims to be a radical yet effective approach to finally helping smokers who have previously tried and failed, kick the habit for good.
