(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 14, 2013 ) Charlotte, NC -- One of the oldest Mooresville business networking groups is undertaking a major expansion this year. Winner's Circle, a BNI chapter focusing on business owners in and around Lake Norman, has relocated to Trump National Golf Club, located in The Pointe community. "The move is designed to synchronize with the increased level of professionalism and demands of our members", says chapter president John Casson. "BNI is one of the world's most respected and recognized networking groups out there, and Trump Golf Clubs are recognized all over the world, making it a natural fit" Casson adds.
The Mooresville chapter was founded in the 1990s and has met in locations as diverse as restaurants, hotels, and most recently a local bagel shop. "The members have always been what really makes our chapter stand out" says membership spokesperson Fran Jeanes. "The move to Trump Golf Club just adds one more element to an already successful group", she continued.
BNI WinnerÂ’s Circle currently has 15 active members and hopes to double that number within 24 months, according to event coordinator Charles Shelley. "We don't just want bodies in seats, we're looking for successful business owners who want to network with others of like ilk", Shelley says. The move is bold for a group that only accepts one member from each business category, but Shelley says they are determined.
The group meets each Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. and wraps up around 9:30 a.m. Members trade referrals, share business insights, and each week a member speaks about elements of his/her industry. "It's amazing how we look out for each other and trade thousands of dollars each week in referrals", says vice president Glynis Coley.
