(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 06, 2012 ) New York, NY -- Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon has been reportedly shopping for engagement rings with current boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin. Sarandon is less than three years removed from her split with longtime boyfriend Tim Robbins,
Sarandon, 66, and Bricklin, 36, have been seen shopping in jewelry stores in Amsterdam, which has fielded rumors of an impending engagement announcement.
The actress, who won an Oscar for her roles in "Dead Man Walking," and is known for her roles in "Bull Durham," Thelma and Louise," and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," has previously claimed that she would never marry again.
"I really can't imagine it. Even when I got married, we never said it was going to be forever," Sarandon said.
"It was a kind of practical decision. I don't think I ever thought of it as something that would be a huge deal."
Her recent trip to Europe has fueled rumors of an impending engagement to Bricklin, who Sarandon met in conjunction with SPiN.
According to a report in the MailOnline, her spokesperson said, "Susan just got back to New York City this morning from Europe, where she was receiving a Lifetime Achievement award from The Amsterdam International Film Festival. Between that, promoting 'Cloud Atlas,' opening her new club SPiN Los Angeles at The Standard and the Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser she's holding at SPiN New York on Friday night, there's been no time to get married or go shopping."
The actress had previously been married to actor Chris Sarandon, known for his role in "The Princess Bride," for 12 years and had been in a relationship with Robbins. The actor and ex-husband starred with the actress in "Bull Durham," along with "Bob Roberts," along with directing her in "Dead Man Walking." The actress has a 26-year old daughter she had with Italian director Franco Amurri, and two sons, Jack, 23, and Miles, 20, she had with Robbins.
Sarandon has previously gone on record as stating that her relationship with Bricklin is serious, stating "I'd say we are collaborators in a lot of different areas. We have a lot of projects in different areas," Sarandon said. "He's a great guy, but I hate that expression 'dating.'"
